This is one more excellent spot for fishing. We adore the picturesque views of the mountains and river at 2nd Dam. Wind Cave is a wonderful hike, but it is considerably longer with an uphill trek, so it may not be an ideal option for small children. The cave, which is actually more of an exposed archway, is awesome though, and a perfect welcome spot to rest after the hike.

This lake is located approximately 7 miles off the major canyon road, yet worth the trip. The wildflowers in the middle of July are stunning. Limber Pine Trail is an straightforward trail to this enormous tree. It is actually about 7 trees that grew together, but still impressive. The trail is gorgeous and even has a Bear Lake overlook.
